Zephaniah 2:1
The book of Zephaniah contains only three chapters, but is significant in that those three chapters tell the whole story of our salvation.
In chapter one, it tells us of our disobedience to and rejection by the Most High (because of our disobedience). He tells us here that he will cut us off from the land.
Zephaniah 1:3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith YAHUAH.
However in chapter three, he tells us of his anger against the nations in the end time. This is for what they have done to his people.
Then the promise of the regathering of his people.
Zephaniah 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith YAHUAH, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
Then, he goes on to tell us about his righteous remnant that he will gather at that time.
Zephaniah 3:10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.
Zephaniah 3:11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
Zephaniah 3:12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of YAHUAH.
Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
But before that, in chapter two, he tells us who will be that remnant (whom he will gather).
He does so by telling us what the remnant will do, which is to gather themselves together.
“Itching Ears” Doctrine
Now the significance of this is an “itching ears” doctrine that says we must not be led by any man, only by Yahusha or YAHUAH.
Notice I said “itching ears doctrine because it comes primarily from those who believe they can teach themselves or they can just go on the internet and pick up what they can from here and there.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
What they do not know is that the Most High is not an author of confusion. He works in order.
He Appoints Porters To Watch Over Us
They do not know that he appoints porters (watchers or gate wardens) over us to watch over our souls. These porters will have to give an account for what they do with us.
porterMar 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

You see, you are waiting to personally hear from the Messiah, but the Messiah left a porter to watch for your soul. Rebelliously, you refuse to let anyone have any authority to lead you. In effect, you have rejected the instructions of the Messiah.
Look at the instruction in verse one of the book of Zephaniah 2 and you will see that we must be gathered together awaiting HaMashiach.
Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
Zephaniah 2:1
The true believers therefore, will indeed gather themselves together.
Obey Them That Have The Rule Over You
The remainder of so-called believers will sit waiting to hear from Yahusha, not knowing that YAHUAH works through those who he gives the rule over us.
Heb 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of Aluah: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Now what does it mean to have the rule over you?

Middle voice of a (presumed) strengthened form of G71; to lead, that is, command (with official authority); figuratively to deem, that is, consider: – account, (be) chief, count, esteem, governor, judge, have the rule over, suppose, think.

In its simplest form, it means to lead.
Obey them that lead you.
So if no man is to lead you as you say, then how can you obey them that lead you? How can you have someone to watch over your soul?
These leaders are appointed to help you on the way to salvation, to point out things in yourself that you cannot see: to correct you and direct in the way you should go!
1Co 14:33 For Aluah is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all assemblies of the saints.
So the saints (set apart/holy ones) will be in assemblies. They will not be renegades doing their own thing!
Video: Why We MUST GATHER OURSELVES In The Land (Of Promise) At This Time
Relocation vs Gathering Together
But that is just the beginning. The stubbornness of people today!
Significantly, many people who heed to the call to “come out of her, my people,” are not gathering together.
Most are relocating.
Now, what is the difference between gathering together and relocating?
Relocating is literally moving from one place to the other, usually with one’s family. This maybe for example, because they see the times we live in. Yet, for varying reasons, do not want to gather together.
However, that is not what we are called to do!
Yes, we will have to relocate if we move, but we have to first and foremostly, gather together.
Who Do I Gather With?
But how do we know who to gather ourselves with?
We have to know the teachers who the Most High has sent to gather us together.
Isaiah 30:20 And though YAHUAH give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Beware Of False Prophets
But how do you know these teachers? You know the by the fruits they produce.
Beware of false prophets! They are all over today. Social media has fuelled a host of false teachers who are spurred on by the opportunity for monetization. The truth scares people away, so false prophets may even give you some truth, but not all the truth. They will tell you what you like to hear so you remain under their control, contributing to their accounts through online monetary platforms or to come to their churches.Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
False Prophets Exposed! How to Know TRUE vs FALSE Prophets
These, true leaders will be leading you to Zion.
Jeremiah 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith YAHUAH; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Because you should be asking your way to Zion.
Jeremiah 50:4 In those days, and in that time, saith YAHUAH, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek YAHUAH their Aluah.
Jeremiah 50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to YAHUAH in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
Gathering Together
So because you are seeking Zion, the Most High will find you teachers to lead you to Zion. These are the people you are to gather yourselves with, waiting for the coming of the Messiah. You see,the whole idea from the beginning is that we must be gathered together in one accord.
Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
Luke 24:49
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
So in the end, it will be the same thing, tarrying TOGETHER to wait on Yahusha HaMashiach.
Hence, Judah Go Home! is dedicated to a return to the land, gathering ourselves there, waiting on the promise from the Father.
2Es 13:48 But those that be left behind of thy people are they that are found within my borders.
2Es 13:49 Now when he destroyeth the multitude of the nations that are gathered together, he shall defend his people that remain.
Therefore, we will gather ourselves together unto his coming.
But when do we gather ourselves together unto him? Hopefully, we will look at that next.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master Yahusha HaMashiach, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 Thessalonians 2:1
